Trey’Dez Green displayed excellent strength and explosiveness on the offensive end and finished well through contact.  Green did a great job of impacting the game on both ends.  He displayed excellent body control and nice touch around the rim.  Green is a tenacious rebounder and low post defender that possesses excellent coordination.  Green has a extremely high basketball I.Q. good court vision and is a excellent decision maker.

Tate McCurry is a tough, scrappy, ultra competitive player that consistently knocked down shots from the perimeter.  McCurry displayed his ability to put the ball on the floor and create for himself.  He did a great job of moving without the ball and shot the ball extremely well off the dribble.  McCurry is a very good on ball defender that did a great job of communicating and doing all the little things that don’t always show up in the stat book

CJ Shiftlett is a very smart and smooth player that never allowed the defense to get him rattled or rush him into making mistakes.  Shiftlett showcased his ability to make good decisions when the ball was in his hands.  Shiftlett possesses excellent vision and passing ability and is a disruptive perimeter defender.  He shot the ball very well from the outside and did a great job of finishing at the rim and did a great job of controlling the pace of the game and playing within the flow of the game.

Xavier Ferguson did a great job of shooting the ball off the dribble and displayed good athleticism and quickness.  Ferguson has a good first step which allowed him to get by his defender to finish at the rim.  He has excellent instincts on both ends and understands how to push the ball and finish in transition.  Ferguson is a highly unselfish player that is not afraid to attack the rim and possesses good ball handles.

Javin Cooper did a great job of getting anywhere that he wanted on the court. Cooper plays the game with a ton of passion and heart and has the special ability to lock in and defend on the ball and off the ball.  Cooper is a player that is a natural floor general with the ability to facilitate and distribute the ball and did a good job of attacking the defense.  Javin Cooper was incredibly disruptive on the defensive end and possesses quick hands and feet.

Brewer Carruth is a player that possesses good size and strength and displayed his ability to put the ball on the floor and create for himself.  Carruth displayed good ball handles and was always looking to make plays for others.  Carruth has good length and versatility which allowed him to have a impact defending on the wing and on the perimeter. Carruth moved very well without the ball and shot the ball very well from mid-range and from behind the 3 point line.  He possesses solid lateral quickness that allowed him to defend smaller, quicker players.

Ejayden Mcdonald is a athletic playmaker that did a good job of creating for himself and others.  Mcdonald plays with great anticipation and possesses good court vision and quickness on the perimeter.  Mcdonald is a good passer that has great leadership skills and did a great job of initiating contact to get to the free throw line.  He was very effective when the ball was in his hands and showed the ability to change direction on the dime.  Mcdonald did a great job of pushing the tempo and controlling the flow of the game.

Kristion Brooks is a highly athletic player with great length and versatility that did a great job of defending positions 1-3.  Brooks displayed the ability to consistently knock down shots from the outside and letting the game come to him.  He is very quick off the dribble and finished well through contact.  Kristion Brooks did a good job of playing solid fundamental basketball and did not gamble on the defensive end.

Derek Byrd is a knock down shooter from the outside that knows how to move without the ball and get open.  Bryd  did a good job of getting into the lane and finishing at the rim through contact.  He possesses the size and versatility to play multiple positions.  Byrd is a good decision maker with good length and strength which allowed him to rebound the ball and post up smaller players.  He did a good job of defending on the perimeter and making good decisions.

Caleb Hobson (’27) Guard – Northwest Rankin MS

Caleb Hobson is a solid on ball defender that is a pass first PG. He is a good distributor and did a good job of not forcing anything or over dribbling.  Hobson did a great job of attacking the rim and playing at a high level.  He is a very smart, all-around player that possesses excellent leadership and is a unselfish player that plays the game the right way.

Rondrien Dillard is a versatile defender that showed his ability to effectively defend on the wing and on the perimeter.  Dillard is a good ball handler did a good job of distributing the ball and shot the ball very well from behind the 3 point line.  Dillard is a player that sees the floor well and finished well through contact and in transition.  He did a great job of running the break and pushing pace taking whatever the defense game him.  He made winning plays and is a excellent leader.
