Jaquise Richmond (’23) is a 6-6 G/F prospect from Barbe High School located in Lake Charles, LA.
Jaquise Richmond is a solid ball handler that rebounds the ball extremely well. Richmond shoots the ball very well from the outside and possesses elite athleticism, great instincts on both ends, and plays with great awareness. He possesses good court vision, size, and versatility to play multiple positions on the floor. Richmond is a solid playmaker and distributor that is extremely active on the defensive end. He is a excellent wing defender that does a good job of playing the passing lanes. Richmond is a very skilled finisher around the rim and handles the ball well in transition. He is extremely coachable, possesses a high motor, great leadership skills, and has the ability to put the ball on the floor to create for himself. Richmond has a dynamic first step, attacks the rim with ease, and plays with a high level of activity on both ends. He does a great job of playing with pace and allowing the game to come to him and not forcing anything. Richmond is a solid interior scorer that plays well through contact and possesses excellent lateral quickness.
