Gage Lavardain (Class Of ’21) is a 6-0 PG from Riverside Academy in Reserve, LA. Lavardain is a player that has flown under the radar for the majority of his high school career in the State Of Louisiana, but after a break out summer, Lavardain opened eyes and put the State on notice.  He has shown that he is capable of playing on at the next level.  Coaches, Lavadain is a gamer and a very hard worker.  Remember the name.

Gage Lavardain is a true point guard that controls the pace of the game.  Lavardain is an excellent ball handler that is an excellent playmaker in transition.  Lavardain’s court vision is next level and he is an excellent facilitator and distributor.  Lavardain does a magnificent job of setting his teammates up and putting them in position for easy scoring opportunities.  Lavardain is a pass first point guard, but when his number is called to be a scorer, he steps up and answers the call.

Lavardain is a player that can easily create for himself and others and is a hard-nosed defender that prides himself on being able to effectively guard bigger and stronger guards.   He does not and will not back down from anyone on the court.  This kid is a true competitor.

Overall, Lavardain is a versatile guard that is capable of playing both guard positions and is ready and willing to play whatever role his coach needs him to play.
