De’Vion Lavergne (’23) is a 6-4 Guard prospect from North Central High School.  Lavergne handles the ball extremely well and possesses elite athleticism and awareness.  He is very shifty and bouncy player  that possesses a excellent first step and explosive finishing ability.  Lavergne has excellent lateral quickness, does a good job of utilizing his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end, and does a great job of playing the passing lanes.  He does good job of initiating contact, distributing/facilitating, and rebounding the ball.  Lavergne is a multi-level scorer that shoots the ball well from the outside, especially off the dribble and is extremely dangerous in isolation situations.  He moves well without the ball, is a very scrappy/hardworking, unselfish player that is a disruptive defender that causes havoc defending on and off the ball.  Lavergne is a excellent communicator on the floor and a very good playmaker that makes winning plays.
