*Did a good job of attacking the rim

*Displayed excellent body control

*Displayed a very smooth ability to score the ball

*Scored the ball well off the dribble

*Excellent shot creator

*Was one of the best perimeter defenders on the weekend

 

Launden Sample (Class Of ’23) – Zoo Living Elite 16U

*Displayed nice athleticism

*Showed a versatile skill-set on both ends

*Played with a high level of focus, energy, and intensity

*Did not play out of character. Did a great job of playing to his strengths

 

James Turner (Class Of ’23) – Community Saved

*Dynamic scoring ability

*Shot the ball very well from the perimeter

*Did a great job of penetrating into the lane

*Finished well at the rim

*Has a great feel for the game

*Displayed excellent communication and leadership skills

*Hard-working player that gave maximum effort on both ends

 

DJ Johnson – GCPC Stars 17U

*Displayed a solid all-around game on offense

*Solid playmaking and facilitating ability

*Fearless

*Did a good job of attacking the paint

*Was very dedicated on the defensive end

*Displayed excellent fundamentals

*Excellent range from the 3-point line

 

Clyde George (Class Of ’23) – 6th Man 16U

*Displayed good speed and body control in the open court

*Did a good job of finishing plays at the rim

*Displayed excellent outside shooting ability

*Did a good job of disrupting the passing lanes

*Solid ball handles with good shot creating ability

*Did a good job of finishing plays in transition

 

Kialen Phillips (Class Of ’23) – 6th Man 16U

*Possesses excellent length

*A versatile defender that showcased his ability to guard multiple positions

*Displayed the ability to step out and shoot the ball from the outside

*Great finishing ability in transition

*Solid ball handler

*Made a number of great plays with his passing ability

 

Lamarkus Williams – Kreme Elite 15U

*Very aggressive/active on the glass

*Displayed excellent footwork and hands in the post

*Showed nice rim-running ability

*Did a great job of passing the ball out of the post

*Showed excellent scoring touch around the rim

 

Sean Brown (Class Of ’25) – Elite Sports

*Displayed nice strength

*Did a great job of finishing at the rim

*Showed a good nose for the ball

*Was not afraid of contact and was aggressive driving to the basket.  Played well through contact

*Rebounded the ball well

 

Lacorey Marshall – Hoop Addicts

*Possesses a good mixture of quickness and athleticism

*Displayed good scoring ability

*His quickness made it very difficult for the defender to stay in from of him

*Displayed a nice first step

*Did a good job of navigating his way through the defense

 

Joshua McArthur – Dirty South Elite

*Played with good body control that allowed him to finish plays well at the rim

*Shot the ball well from the perimeter

*His quickness, good anticipation skills, and instincts allowed him to effectively disrupt the passing lanes on the defensive end

*A very high level defender

 

Tederrius Williams – West Alabama Elite 17U

*Excellent ball handler

*Excellent court vision

*Effectively defended multiple spots on the defensive end

*Was very dangerous in the open floor/on the break

*Excellent lateral quickness
