Burns moves well without the ball, plays with great versatility on both ends, and displays nice touch from mid-range. Burns finishes well around the rim, is a capable ball handler, and possesses nice court vision and I.Q. Burns plays with good offensive/defensive awareness, possesses solid shot blocking ability, and athleticism. Burns has solid footwork in the post, good hands, and is an excellent pick and roll defender that does a good job of contesting shot and playing the passing lanes.
