JP Ricks is a true PG that can lead his team by facilitating and getting others involved or by going into attack mode and scoring the ball.  Ricks is a true leader on and off the court.  JP is a player that does a great job of getting into the paint and shoots the ball extremely well from the perimeter.  Ricks is a elite mid-range scorer and is a dynamic perimeter defender.  He displays excellent speed, blow by quickness and has a great first step.  JP Ricks is a player that does not make many mistake and commits very few turnovers.  He does a great job of commanding the offense, especially in pick and roll situations.  Ricks is great at initiating contact.  JP is a creative PG who does most of his damage with the ball in his hands, but also does a great job of playing off the ball.  Ricks is a very crafty ball handler that is a excellent passer and possesses dynamic court vision.  Ricks is a very unselfish/team first player.  His eyes are always up and never looking at the floor.  He plays with great anticipation skills, often seeing and making plays before they unfold or the defense has time to react.  Displays excellent awareness on both ends.
