Kawaski Lambert (’24) 6-1 Guard

Kawaski Lambert did a good job of attacking the defense and defending on and off the ball.  Lambert can play both guard positions and shot the ball well from the outside.  He moves well without the ball, handles the ball well, and is disciplined on both ends.  Lambert has great instincts, played well through contact, and did a good job of finding the open man.

 

Giles Boyd (’23) 6-3 Guard

Giles Boyd is an excellent shooter from behind the 3 point line and does a good job of letting the game come to him.  Giles defends well on the perimeter, possesses good strength, and can play both guard positions.  He got to his spots on the floor with ease and did a good job of attacking the rim.  Boyd is a solid ball handler, playmaker, and did a great job of getting to the free-throw line.

 

Brandon Edinburgh (’23) 6-2 Guard

Brandon Edinburgh penetrated the defense with ease and finished well in transition.  Edinburgh played with good energy and stayed in attack mode.  He never shyed away from contact and did a good job of putting pressure on the ball handler.  Edinburgh is an excellent passer and playmaker.

 

Kanare’yun Terrell (’25) 5-8 Guard

Kanare’yun Terrell did a great job of controlling the tempo and communicating with his teammates.  Terrell is a disruptive defender with active hands that made a number of game changing plays on the defensive end.  He did a great job of playing the passing lanes and possesses good ball handles and court vision.  Terrell has a high basketball I.Q. and is a very skilled passer.

 

C.J. Madison (’25) 6-0 Guard

C.J. Madison is a skilled ball handler and playmaker that possesses the ability to see the entire floor.  Madison did a great job of finishing at the rim and distributing the ball and making plays for his teammates.  Madison did a great job of initiating contact to get to the free throw line and shooting the ball from mid-range.  He is very disciplined on both ends.

 

Jas Smith (’25) 6-1 Guard

Jas Smith is a very smooth and skilled shooter from the outside.  Smith was locked in on both ends and never got in a rush.  He did a good job of playing the passing lanes and rebounding the ball.  Smith is a very scrappy player that did a great job of doing the dirty work such as diving on the floor for the loose ball and giving extra effort on every possession.

 

Jaylen Haliburton (’25) 6-2 Guard

Jaylen Haliburton possesses solid athleticism and did a good job of penetrating the meat of the defense to get to his spots.  Haliburton did an excellent job of running the floor in transition and finishing through contact.  He was truly at his best when going downhill.  Haliburton played with good body control, shot the ball well from the outside, and was assertive on both ends.  He did a good job of getting into the passing lanes and pushing the ball in transition.

 

Deandre Lewis (’24) 6-5 Forward

Deandre Lewis was a clean up man around the rim finishing everything that he touched.  Lewis is a skilled rebounder that is a versatile defender that can defend in the post and on the wing.  He has solid footwork and hands on the block, moves well without the ball, and possesses a high level of athleticism.  Lewis is a high energy player with the ability to step out and shoot the ball from the outside, finish in transition, and pass the ball from the double team.  He runs the floor well and has excellent court vision.

 

Sacori Hills (’24) 6-1 Guard

Sacori Hills shot the ball extremely well from the outside and did a great job of facilitating and distributing the ball.  Hills is a good ball handler with excellent court vision and did a good job of taking what the defense gave him.  He did a great job of getting into the rim and playing under control.  Hills did a good job of controlling the tempo and made excellent decisions with the ball in his hands.  Hills is a great competitor that possesses a high level of toughness and grit.

 

Shance James (’27) 6-1 Forward

Shance James is a good 2 way player possessing the ability to defend and score the ball.  James is scrappy and plays with a ton of energy and effort.  He possesses a high motor.  James is versatile on both ends, is a solid shooter from the outside, and possesses good size and strength.  He is a good passer, did a good job of creating for others, and has good athleticism.  James is humble and hardworking and was a force rebouding the ball and creating 2nd chance opportunities for his team.

 

Zahir Gutierrez (’24) 6-0 Guard

Zahir Gutierrez did a great job of attacking and finishing at the rim.  Gutierrez possesses good size and strength from the guard position and has a quick first step.  He is a skilled free-throw shooter and is tough to stop in transition.  Gutierrez is a confident player that is a dynamic ball handler and playmaker.  He does not have to dominate the ball to be effective.  Gutierrez has a crafty mid-range game, is very unselfish, and knows how to create space for himself with or without the ball.  He is a clutch performer that thrives in pressure situations scoring his teams final 8 points of the game, including the game winner.
