Gavin Lucas is a fundamentally sound guard that is tough and physical.  Lucas shot the ball well coming off the screen, especially from the perimeter.  Lucas did a great job of pulling up and shooting from mid-range and finished well through contact.  He scored the ball well in the open floor and displayed solid decision making, playmaking, and passing ability.  Plays the game with great poise and control.

Emmanuel “Manny” Young (’27) 5-8 Guard (LA)

Many Young is a player that was very efficient scoring the ball off the dribble and showcased very good offensive instincts.  Young did a great job of getting into the passing lanes on defense and has a excellent nose for the ball.  He is a clutch player that wants the ball down the stretch and has the ability to look defenders off  to get into the lane.  Young posses good body control, leadership skills and plays with good positioning and control.

Trey Alexander (’24) 6-2 Guard (MS)

Trey Alexander is a dynamic guard that possesses good speed and a excellent first step.  Alexander did a great job of pushing the ball in transition and finished strong at the rim.  Alexander played well through contact and did a good job of getting to the free-throw line.  He is a very unselfish player that moves well without the ball and is a very good spot-up shooter.  Alexander plays with strong defensive instincts and anticipation and has a very high basketball I.Q.

Eddie Mcintyre (’25) 5-5 Guard (LA)

Eddie Mcintyre shot the ball very well from outside and displayed good speed and ball handles in the open court.  Mcintyre did a good job of distributing, facilitating, and controlling the tempo of the game.  Mcintyre is a solid ball handler and passer that finished well through contact and did a excellent job of defending on/off the ball.

Joshua Whitehurst is a high energy player that did a great job of creating contact and finishing at the rim.  Whitehurst is a aggressive player that did a great job of absorbing contact/physicality and did a wonderful job of getting defenders off balance.  He played with good body control and was able to get to his sports on the floor.  Whitehurst is a player that is very good at changing directions and moving without the ball.

Letavian Crockett is a excellent shooter from the perimeter that can score the ball and create well off the dribble.  Crockett is a good ball handler with good athleticism, playmaking ability and is a good perimeter defender.  Crockett is a player that is assertive on both ends of the floor, possesses good defensive and offensive awareness, and is very disciplined.

Kialen Phillips possesses excellent size and length and has a dynamic blend of strength and athleticism.  Phillips moves well without the ball and is a very good all-around player that can do a little bit of everything.  He is very versatile on both ends.  Phillips has the ability to create shots for himself and has good ball handles and court vision.  He has excellent body control, excellent footwork, good strength, and finishes well through contact.  Philips is very unselfish and not afraid of doing the dirty work.

Jermiah Lucas has a great feel for the game and is a instinctive player that reacts quickly and naturally on both ends.  Lucas has good body control and good quickness that allows him to be a disruptive perimeter defender.  Lucas has great versatility on both ends and possesses good lateral quickness, strength, and a explosive first step that allows him to get around the defender.  He has a high motor and is a good ball handler that knows how to run the offense and control the tempo of the game.
